Biola Enrichment Days 2024

We are SO excited this year to open up Biola Enrichment Days to our Inspire One Homeschool Students aged 5 to 11 years old! Our vision is to see kids from different walks of life play and learn and grow together!! It’s our greatest desire to see the gaps between Fresno/Biola area kids bridged and their lives intertwined in a way that promotes lasting friendships and camaraderie.

We believe that the love of Christ brings us together in ways nothing else can, and we’d love to facilitate these relationships in a safe environment during the middle of summer break when kids might be longing for connection.

WHAT will take place?
-Each morning we will gather together and learn from special speakers, dance, sing, and prayer over our day.

-After that, the kids will rotate in stations prepared for crafting, cooking, sports, and games!

-We will also have special stations to explore the “Frog and Toad” stories (among others), encouraging reading comprehension and developing writing skills. We plan to create mailboxes where students can receive and send mail to each other, further reinforcing the important skills of reading, writing, and communication.

-We will have 2 water play days where kids can keep cool in this valley summer heat. (We have reached out to the Fire Department to help us out with this 😉).

-In addition to all the fun activities we have planned, the kids will work together to put on a play based on what we learn this summer.

Handbells BEGINNING Summer Workshop

Handbells BEGINNING Summer Workshop

Our workshop dates are now confirmed and on the calendar at Campus Bible Church! Workshops will be held in the Campus Bible Church choir room (behind the platform in the sanctuary building, where we store our handbell equipment). We STILL HAVE ROOM FOR MORE students in the Beginning workshop if you or anyone you know is interested in joining us. You will need to know a little about basic rhythms (like quarter note and rest, half note and rest, dotted half note and whole note) but do NOT need handbell experience. Email Patti Cota HERE no later than June 10th.
